Ive done nothing, but listen to music, watching tv, eating junk food, and sleeping. Yeah! that pretty much sums it up, and i must say this doing nothing thing is starting to grow on me...i just hope it grows off before school starts. Until next time...Duece!

I was on Facebook - as I am very often - seeing what was going on with the world and my friends (of course) when something caught my eye, a note, a note that was titled "Chivalry is dead --and women killed it." I read the note and I have to say...I agree 10000% and not because I’m coming from a man’s point of view, but because its 10000% true. Women have become too obsessed with being independent that they don't see what it's doing to them. So today I hit up the mall with my gf and her cousin with a goal, a goal to get me out of my confort zone and try new things, it was definitely harder than i thought. I didnt see anything; or maybe i just wasnt looking well. But what did stand out were these two things(the pics above). The "Nike Blazers" because my girlfriend liked 'em and "Dad's Reader" because i thought they were cool. Anyway im still on the lookout for "New things".

New Things

The other day, actually yesterday I bought my first pair of Jordans, as expensive as they were I just wanted to try something new, because if you know me you'll notice that all I wear are sperrys. So from this point on Seyi Adeleke is going to try new things, who know i might even try....I don't know, but just know that im on a new things tandem.

So i thought that if i start typing something would come to mind, but i guess was wrong. Mehn! this reminds me of English 1102 when the teacher made us write about how we were feeling and that is exactly how i started off each one "So i thought that if i start typing something would come to mind, but i guess was wrong." Crazy enough i got a hundred on all of 'em. Mehn! i miss school, i miss having no time it sure beats having plenty time to do nothing. And that is exactly what i did yesterday, and today. At least today i went to the gym, but all i did was sit and watch because my sneakers felt uncomfortable. All i can do now is look forward to the next day and hope it's better than the present day. I'm going back to my Entourage marathon. Until next time Duece!

Family Vacation 6/24/2009

My family and I just got back from a 3week vacation in Nigeria, it sure had a few firsts. For the first time I went on a day trip to Enugu, another first is I went on a plane 9x in 3 weeks..Crazy, and last but not least I went to Calabar. Calabar was fun so was Enugu, but there is nowhere like home, Lagos had to be my favorite part of the trip, spending time with my nuclear family, and extended family.

My Day

My day was better than the last. Way better. Why? Because i got to see my baby, also met her cousins and her aunt for the first time. All in all i had fun. First we hit up the mall, then we went to the pool. I know it doesn't sound like we did much, but i had to tell you the few hours we spent together were fun. I always enjoy her company.

Just Chillin'

Just chillin' high on drugs, no not illegal drugs, but music. It can make you high, can make u feel low, it can make you feel anything. Right now when as im writing this post im listening to Loveyou by Maxwell, that has to be one of my favorite songs off his new album, it has to be because i set my ipod to repeat. **Side note** if you dont already have Maxwell's album you need to get it.As your reading this post your probably thinking its about music, sorry to dissapoint you, but its not, its about how my summer is going to waist, yeah its another one of those summers. Remember at the beginning of the summer you have big goal about what your going to do, you might even create a checklist of things you want to do, but for some reason you never seem to get anything accompished, that's where i am right now. Im not saying ive done completely nothing, I have. Ive been to Nigeria, London, and back to America, but i havent accomplished a personal goal. And I know the summer isn't over just yet, but its too late to do anything because its time to start setting my brain back into school mode, you know waking up early for class, and getting back to your dorm to study, yeah that mode. I just pray that this semester is different.
